Awareness Camps Scheduled in Kishtwar for Admission to Professional Colleges in J&K
Kishtwar, December 2024: The District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kishtwar, has issued an order regarding the organization of awareness programs and camps aimed at filling vacant seats in various professional colleges across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

These camps, approved by the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) and the ARI and Trainings Department, will focus on promoting admissions in paramedical and technical courses. These include ANM/GNM, B.Pharmacy, D.Pharmacy, B.Tech, B.Architecture, and other professional degree programs for students who have completed their 10th and 12th grades.

Key Responsibilities:
Sh. Rajinder Kumar, CMO Kishtwar, has been appointed as the nodal officer to ensure smooth coordination and execution of these programs. He will work in collaboration with the Principal of Polytechnic College Kishtwar, Principal of ITI Kishtwar, and other stakeholders. The Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Kishtwar will facilitate the participation of PRIs, NGOs, and other local organizations to maximize student engagement.

Revised Schedule of Awareness Camps:

1. ITI Kishtwar

Date: Now rescheduled for 12th December 2024 (previously 9th December 2024).



2. Gulabgarh Paddar

Date: 11th December 2024.



3. Dak Bungalow, Chatroo

Date: 13th December 2024.




The District Information Officer has been directed to ensure wide publicity of these programs through print, electronic, and social media channels to maximize participation.

Students and parents are encouraged to attend these camps to explore educational opportunities and receive guidance on admission procedures for professional courses.
