October 2, Sumb: On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary, the students and staff of Modern Institute of Education Sumb conducted a special cleanliness drive in the school premises. On this occasion, the students, along with their teachers, not only cleaned the school but also organized a rally to spread Mahatma Gandhi's message of cleanliness to the public.
Through the rally, the students and teachers raised awareness about cleanliness with slogans such as "Cleanliness is Service" and "Follow Gandhi’s Path, Realize the Dream of a Clean India." Officer Manohar Lal from the local police station also participated in the rally and inspired the gathering to follow the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi.
The principal of Modern Institute of Education Sumb, Mr. Narendra Singh, addressed the students and local citizens on this occasion, shedding light on the life of Mahatma Gandhi, his ideals, and his perspective on cleanliness. He explained how Gandhi gave great importance to cleanliness in his life, and urged everyone to follow his path by making continuous efforts to keep their homes, schools, and society clean.
During the program, the children made posters related to cleanliness and, by participating in the rally, spread the message of cleanliness through the main streets of the town. This event was a commendable effort to instill awareness about cleanliness among children and keep Mahatma Gandhi's ideas alive.
The local citizens appreciated this initiative and assured their support for such events in the future.
