Jammu: 1st October 2024.The three-phased Assembly Election in Jammu and Kashmir concluded today with the third and final phase of polling. The Election Commission of India had announced the formal schedule on 16th August 2024. Polling for 24 Assembly constituencies was held on 18th September, the second phase for 26 constituencies on 25th September, and the third and final phase took place today for 40 Assembly constituencies. The voter turnout in the first phase was 61.38%, in the second phase, it was 57.31%, and in the last phase, it reached 68.72% (tentative).
