Nagrota, November 3, 2024 – In a bid to ensure the continuous supply of safe and clean drinking water to the residents of Jammu city, the Minister for Jal Shakti, Javed Rana, conducted a surprise visit to the Sitlee Filtration Plant located in Nagrota. This unannounced inspection was aimed at reviewing the functioning and efficiency of the premier water supply installation.
During his visit, Minister Rana carried out a comprehensive inspection of the filtration process, infrastructure, and overall operational management of the plant. He engaged with the plant's technical staff to understand the challenges they face and the measures being employed to maintain optimal water quality.
The Minister emphasized the critical importance of maintaining high standards of water purity and urged the plant officials to conduct regular test checks.
