Srinagar Police Observes International Day Against Drug Abuse with Awareness Campaigns

In observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, Srinagar Police organized a series of impactful awareness activities and community outreach programs across various Police Stations and Police Posts in the district.

The initiative aimed to sensitize the public about the grave consequences of drug abuse and the urgent need to curb illegal drug trafficking. Srinagar Police engaged with students, youth groups, and local communities through seminars, street plays, awareness rallies, and interactive sessions, fostering dialogue on the dangers of substance abuse.

Public meetings and informative discussions were held to highlight the physical, mental, and social harm caused by drug addiction. Senior police officers emphasized the importance of collective action in addressing the growing menace of drugs in society.
