Udhampur, May 26: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai, chaired a preliminary meeting today to review the preparedness for achieving 100% saturation of 25 key indicators across 17 line departments under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Rajinder Singh, Programme Officer Poshan Subash Dogra, Chief Planning Officer Mohd Iqbal, and other senior officials of the district administration.
The campaign is scheduled to be held in Udhampur district from June 15 to June 30, 2025. It aims to ensure 100% saturation of various welfare schemes and services in tribal villages through coordinated efforts among departments.
While addressing the officers, the DC informed that benefit saturation camps will be organized under the initiative, offering a single-window platform for delivering essential government services. These services include Aadhaar enrolment, ration card issuance, Ayushman Bharat card registration, caste and domicile certificate issuance, Kisan Credit Cards, and access to financial inclusion schemes like Jan Dhan and PM-KISAN.
She underscored the importance of close interdepartmental coordination to ensure timely and effective implementation. The DC directed officials to intensify field-level activities to ensure that no eligible beneficiary is left out.
Furthermore, she stressed the need for real-time reporting and robust monitoring mechanisms to track the progress and the number of beneficiaries served during the campaign.
