Samba: On August 15, 2024, the national flag was hoisted with great joy and enthusiasm in all government schools of the Samba district on the occasion of the 78th Independence Day. This significant occasion became special for the children, teachers, and parents who collectively expressed their respect and love for the nation.
Special programs were organized in each school, where students presented patriotic songs, dances, and cultural performances. These programs not only highlighted the spirit of patriotism but also paid tribute to the great heroes of the freedom struggle.
After hoisting the national flag, the principals of each school addressed the students, explaining the importance of independence and their role in nation-building. The principals inspired the students to imbibe the values of discipline, dedication, and patriotism in their lives.
During the program, the students sang the national anthem and participated in a march-past, which was the highlight of the event. Additionally, speech competitions were organized to remember the sacrifices of the freedom fighters.
