In preparation for Republic Day 2024, a full dress rehearsal was organized today at the Sports Stadium in Poonch. On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Tahir Mustafa Malik (JKAS) hoisted the tricolor and inspected the parade contingents.
Various security forces participated in the dress rehearsal held in Poonch and put on an impressive parade. Officials and dignitaries present at the stadium celebrated the spirit of patriotism on this occasion.
While inspecting the parade, Tahir Mustafa Malik appreciated the preparation and discipline of the security forces. He mentioned that all arrangements for the main Republic Day event have been completed, and the district administration has ensured that the event will be grand and secure.
A large number of security officers, senior officials of the local administration, school children, and local residents were present on this occasion. The citizens of Poonch showed great enthusiasm for the event and enjoyed the rehearsal with patriotic songs.
