New Delhi: A special Air India flight arrived in Delhi from Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, on Tuesday carrying 199 passengers and 6 infants.
According to Air India officials, this flight was part of the "Vande Bharat Mission" initiated to bring back Indian citizens stranded abroad during the pandemic. Under this mission, Air India has successfully repatriated Indian citizens from various countries around the world.
Upon arrival at Delhi airport, all passengers were sent for mandatory health screenings, and medical assistance was provided to those in need. Special healthcare services were also made available for the infants.
After the successful operation of this special flight, Air India announced that they would continue to organize more such special flights in the future to safely transport citizens stranded abroad to their destinations. Under the Vande Bharat Mission, thousands of citizens have been safely repatriated to their homes, and this campaign will continue in the future as well.
