Pahalgam, July 21, 2024 - A significant religious ritual was conducted before the commencement of the famous Amarnath Yatra. Mahant Deependra Giri organized the Bhumi Pujan ceremony of the holy mace at Pahalgam. Many devotees, saints, and local citizens were present on this occasion.
The holy mace, which is considered a symbol of Lord Shiva, is taken to the Amarnath cave. The Bhumi Pujan ceremony at the initial stage of this pilgrimage is deemed highly important. Mahant Deependra Giri, who is the chief organizer of this yatra, performed this ritual meticulously.

A special havan and puja were also organized on this occasion, in which hundreds of devotees participated. Mahant Deependra Giri blessed the attendees and highlighted the importance of the yatra.
