Dr. Jitendra Singh Interacts with 16 Deputy Commissioners from Bangladesh Civil Services

Dr. Jitendra Singh recently interacted with 16 Deputy Commissioners from the Bangladesh Civil Services who were attending the "Special Capacity Building Programme on Public Policy & Governance" organized by the National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG). The objective of this program was to share policy and administrative experiences between the two countries.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Neighborhood First Policy' has strengthened India-Bangladesh relations on multiple levels. Under this policy, both countries have enhanced cooperation in critical areas such as healthcare, trade, and more. Bangladesh has shown keen interest in learning from India's successful initiatives like Ayushman Bharat and the Government e-Marketplace (GeM).

Addressing the officials from Bangladesh, Dr. Jitendra Singh stated that the friendship and cooperation between India and Bangladesh would continue to grow stronger in the coming times. He mentioned that such programs not only facilitate the exchange of policy information but also strengthen personal and professional relationships between the officials of both countries.

Through this program, the officials from Bangladesh will be able to understand the factors behind the success of the Indian administrative system and its schemes. This program is a significant step towards further strengthening the shared understanding and cooperation between India and Bangladesh.
