SAMBA, 07.01.2024— The Krishi Vigyan Kendra Arazi, Samba, today hosted a pivotal one-day program focused on the Udhyam Jagriti 2.0 Baseline Survey, a cornerstone initiative under Project YUVA (Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan). The program, spearheaded by District Development Commissioner Sh. Rajesh Sharma (JKAS), marks a significant step forward in the district's commitment to youth entrepreneurship development.
The survey aims to create a data-driven foundation for implementing targeted youth development programs across the district.
"Our focus is on creating an ecosystem where young entrepreneurs can thrive," stated Deputy Commissioner Sh. Rajesh Sharma.
The comprehensive program brought together key district officials and stakeholders, including District Statistics & Evaluation Officer, Assistant Director Employment, Samba, Chief Scientist and Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Samba and local community leaders and youth representatives.
Project YUVA (Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan) is a comprehensive initiative designed to foster entrepreneurial skills among youth, create sustainable livelihood opportunities and bridge the gap between skills training and market demands to promote innovation and self-reliance in the region.
The baseline survey will commence immediately, with trained teams conducting detailed assessments across the district. Community members are encouraged to participate actively in the process to ensure comprehensive data collection that will inform future policy decisions and program implementations.
