76th Republic Day Celebrated with Great Enthusiasm at HSS Sumb

Sumb (Samba): The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm on January 26, 2025, at Government Higher Secondary School, Sumb. The program was presided over by the school principal, Vijay Chanyal. Special guests present at the event included Goran’s Chowki Officer Manohar Lal, Mahant Manoj, BJP Mandal President Devinder Singh, former Sarpanch Ranjit Singh, Captain Malkeet Singh, Captain Ranbir Singh, and former Sarpanch Kumar Singh.

The event commenced with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by the singing of the national anthem by all dignitaries and students. Subsequently, cultural programs were organized, where students captivated the audience with patriotic songs, dances, and plays.

Special guest Chowki Officer Manohar Lal addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of the Constitution. He encouraged the students to uphold the unity and integrity of the nation. Principal Vijay Chanyal appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers, emphasizing that Republic Day is not only a day to honor our Constitution but also a reminder of our rights and duties.

During the program, tributes were paid to freedom fighters and the contributions of the nation’s soldiers were remembered. BJP Mandal President Devinder Singh urged students to maintain the spirit of patriotism and recognize the importance of education.

Awards were distributed to students who showcased exceptional performances. Local residents actively participated in the event and contributed to its success.

The 76th Republic Day celebration became a symbol of pride and enthusiasm for the Sumb region, spreading a message of patriotism and unity among all.
