In an official directive issued by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, several officials have been transferred and posted to the personal section of the Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister. This move is aimed at ensuring the efficient functioning of the Deputy Chief Minister's office, with designated officials taking on various administrative responsibilities.

Details of the Transfer

The following officials have been transferred to the personal section of the Deputy Chief Minister:

1. Shri Shuaib Javid Lala, Junior Stenographer

Cadre: J&K Secretariat (Subordinate) Service

Previous Posting: School Education Department



2. Shri Prince Gupta, Junior Stenographer

Cadre: Financial Commissioner, Revenue, J&K

Previous Posting: Office of Deputy Commissioner, Jammu



3. Shri Bishal Kumar, Junior Assistant

Cadre: J&K Secretariat (Subordinate) Service

Previous Posting: General Administration Department



4. Shri Ahsan Iqbal Butt, Junior Assistant

Cadre: J&K Secretariat (Subordinate) Service

Previous Posting: Revenue Department



5. Shri Tariq Ahmad Gupta, MTS

Cadre: J&K Legislative Council

Previous Posting: Hospitality and Protocol Department



6. Shri Rakesh Kumar Pandita, MTS

Cadre: J&K Housing Board

Previous Posting: Public Works (R&B) Department




Terms of Posting and Retention

Officials at positions 2, 5, and 6 will retain lien, seniority, and promotion prospects in their parent departments.

The salary of the official at position 5 will be drawn from the General Administration Department, based on monthly biometric attendance.


The order emphasizes that the posting will follow the norms set out in Government Order No. 268-GAD of 2015, as amended over time.

Effective Immediately

All the above officials have been relieved of their previous duties and are expected to report to their new positions under the personal section of the Deputy Chief Minister immediately.

The directive was issued by Sanjeev Verma, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, and signed by Rohit Sharma, JKAS, Additional Secretary to the Government.

Further copies of the order were sent to key administrative officials, including the Financial Commissioner (Revenue), Administrative Secretaries, and others for implementation.
