Samba: Today, Rahul Sambyal, President of Youth for Society, inaugurated a local volleyball club, promoting sports as a key tool to engage youth and keep them away from harmful habits such as drug abuse. The event also witnessed the special honor being bestowed upon renowned bodybuilder Anil Verma, whose achievements have inspired the youth in the region.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by several prominent figures from the Samba region, including Kulbir Singh, Ranveer Singh, Chinku Singh, Bobby Singh, and Dheeraj Sharma, also known as "Latto." Their contributions played a significant role in the success of the event.
In his address to the youth, Rahul Sambyal emphasized the importance of sports in shaping both physical and mental strength. He encouraged young people to stay away from drugs and focus on participating in sports, which can help them progress in a positive direction. He expressed concern about the rising drug addiction among the youth in Samba, which is hindering the region’s development. Sambyal urged the young generation to remain engaged in sports and become role models for society.
General Secretary Sh. Surinder Singh also attended the ceremony, showing his support for the initiative.
At the end of the event, all guests and players reaffirmed their commitment to sports and praised Youth for Society for organizing such a valuable initiative.
