Ramban: The Jal Shakti Department has fulfilled a long-standing public demand by restoring two water filtration plants in Batote and Kunfer. This initiative is expected to bring relief to thousands of residents.
A 5,000 Gallons Per Hour (GPH) Rapid Sand Filtration Plant in Batote and a 500 Gallons Per Hour (GPH) Slow Sand Filtration Plant in Kunfer have been made operational again. The restoration of these plants was a long-pending demand of the local population, which has now been fulfilled.
The local residents have expressed their gratitude to the Jal Shakti Department for the reconstruction of these water plants. They stated that the reactivation of these plants will improve the supply of clean drinking water, benefiting thousands of people in the region.
The district administration has also appreciated the successful implementation of these projects and highlighted the significant efforts of the Jal Shakti Department's team.
