Rajouri, August 16, 2024: District Election Officer for Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma IAS, conducted a detailed review of the preparations by all Returning Officers (ROs) and Nodal Officers for the upcoming Legislative Assembly elections. The meeting focused on various aspects of the election preparations, including the condition of polling stations, security arrangements, and the availability of election materials.
Mr. Sharma emphasized that all necessary measures would be taken to ensure transparency and fairness in the election process. He instructed all relevant officials to pay special attention to the setup of polling stations, security arrangements, and voter facilities. He also ensured that any irregularities in the election process would be promptly addressed.
The meeting also covered the election timeline, the distribution process of election kits, and voter awareness programs. Mr. Sharma stated that special attention would be given to polling stations to ensure a convenient and smooth voting experience for all voters.
