"DEO Budgam Akshay Labroo Reviews Election Teams, Directs Strict Enforcement of Model Code of Conduct"

District Election Officer (DEO) Budgam, Akshay Labroo, reviewed the various election teams of the district, including the Model Code of Conduct (MCC), Expenditure Monitoring Team, Flying Squad Team (FST), Static Surveillance Team (SST), Video Surveillance Team (VST), and Video Viewing Team (VVT).

He directed all teams to work together seamlessly to ensure strict enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct. Labroo emphasized that adherence to the Code of Conduct is crucial to maintaining the integrity and fairness of the electoral process, and any leniency in this regard will not be tolerated.

Additionally, he instructed the officials to report regularly and take swift action in case of any irregularities or violations. He stated that all activities during the election process would be closely monitored, and strict measures would be taken against any illegal activities.

On this occasion, key officials from various departments of the district and other important members associated with the electoral process were also present. All agreed that collective efforts are necessary to ensure free and transparent elections in the district.
