Union MoS Dr. Jitendra Singh Chaired a Review Meeting with Administration and PRIs in Udhampur

Udhampur, July 15: Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Dr. Jitendra Singh chaired a review meeting today in Udhampur with administrative officials and representatives of Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs). The purpose of the meeting was to review the progress of development projects and discuss issues faced by the people.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Commissioner of Udhampur district, Superintendent of Police, heads of various departments, Block Development Officers, and representatives of village panchayats. Dr. Jitendra Singh inquired about the status of ongoing development projects in the district and directed the officials to expedite the work to ensure timely completion of these projects.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on issues such as the availability of basic amenities in rural areas, the status of healthcare services, education, and road connectivity. Dr. Jitendra Singh sought information from the panchayat representatives about the problems in their areas and assured them that all issues would be resolved promptly.

He stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the central government is committed to the development of Jammu and Kashmir and is making every possible effort for the same. He emphasized that it should be the priority of the administration to ensure that the benefits of various schemes of the central government reach the common people.

Dr. Jitendra Singh directed the officials to maintain regular communication with the local people and resolve their issues on time. He also appealed to the panchayat representatives to discharge their responsibilities with honesty and dedication.

At the end of the meeting, Dr. Jitendra Singh thanked all the officials and panchayat representatives for their efforts and stressed the need for collective efforts for the overall development of the Udhampur district.
