Jammu, March 24, 2026:

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has officially announced the rescheduling of the OMR-based written examination for the post of Junior Assistant.

As per the notice, the examination, which was earlier scheduled to be held on April 5, 2026, has now been postponed and will be conducted on April 19, 2026.

The exam was advertised under Notification No. 08 of 2025 dated September 27, 2025. JKSSB stated that the decision has been taken to inform all concerned candidates in advance.

Furthermore, the Board has informed that admit cards will be issued seven days prior to the examination, i.e., from April 13, 2026.

Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official JKSSB website for updates and further instructions.
