Today, a widespread search operation was carried out in the upper areas of Goran in district Samba by the SOG Samba team under the leadership of DSP Operations Sakshi Sharma, in collaboration with Police Post Goran Samba.
The operation was conducted in view of the severe cold and the possibility of old hilly routes becoming active again. The police carried out a search drive in the areas of Khabbal, Bain-Babeti, Sodam, and Goran Dhar.
During the operation, the security situation was reviewed and police presence was strengthened at sensitive locations. According to officials, this was a routine search operation aimed at maintaining peace and security in the region.
The police have appealed to the people to immediately report any suspicious activity so that a secure environment can be ensured.
