Poonch, December 2, 2024: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) of Poonch convened a high-level review meeting to assess the performance and functionality of the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Department. The meeting, held at the district headquarters, was attended by senior officials of the department, tehsildars, and field officers.
The primary agenda of the meeting was to evaluate the distribution of essential commodities, including food grains, sugar, and kerosene oil, under various government schemes such as the Public Distribution System (PDS), Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana (PMGKY), and Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY).
