New Delhi, October 2025:
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is soon expected to release the official notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2025 December session on its official website ctet.nic.in. As per credible education sources, the online application process is likely to begin in September 2025, with the examination tentatively scheduled for December 2025.

The CTET is a national-level eligibility test that serves as a mandatory qualification for candidates aspiring to become teachers in Central Government schools such as Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, and other schools under the administrative control of the Union Territories.


🔹 About CTET

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted by CBSE twice a year — usually in July and December. The test ensures that candidates possess the essential aptitude and teaching skills for classroom teaching at the elementary and secondary levels.

CTET comprises two papers:

Paper I – For candidates intending to teach Classes I to V (Primary Level)

Paper II – For candidates intending to teach Classes VI to VIII (Upper Primary Level)
Candidates fulfilling both levels’ eligibility criteria can apply for both papers.


🔹 Eligibility Criteria

For Paper I (Classes I–V):

Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)
or

Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed degree


For Paper II (Classes VI–VIII):

Graduation with 2-year D.El.Ed or B.Ed degree with at least 50% marks.


Note: Relaxation of 5% marks is provided for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government norms.

Candidates can apply for CTET 2025 only through the official website ctet.nic.in.
The entire process is online, and no offline form submission is accepted.

Step-by-Step Procedure:

1. Visit: https://ctet.nic.in


2. Click on the link “Apply for CTET – December 2025” once activated.


3. Register with your valid email ID and mobile number.


4. Fill out the online form with personal, educational, and contact details.


5. Upload scanned images of your passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format.


6. Pay the examination fee online via debit/credit card, UPI, or net banking.


7. Submit the application and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

J&K Govt Notifies HRA for Employees Across Union Territory Srinagar, October 03, 2025: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has issued a notification regarding the House Rent Allowance (HRA) for government employees across the Union Territory. As per the notification (S.O. 246), issued by the Finance Department under the directions of the Lieutenant Governor, the HRA will be applicable with effect from January 1, 2024, in the revised pay structure as per the classification notified by the Central Government. The HRA rates have been fixed as follows: All Metropolitan Cities (X Class Cities): 30% of Basic Pay Srinagar UA/Jammu UA (Y Class Cities): 20% of Basic Pay Other Places (Z Class Locations): 10% of Basic Pay The order was issued by Santosh D.
