Budgam, August 19:
Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat (IAS), today chaired a District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) review meeting under Mission YUVA.
During the meeting, 260 new cases were approved for financial assistance aimed at supporting young entrepreneurs and job seekers. The DC emphasized the importance of youth empowerment, transparency, and timely disbursement of benefits to ensure maximum outreach and impact.
He also set fresh targets for effective implementation of the scheme, directing concerned departments to extend handholding support to beneficiaries and ensure proper monitoring of the approved cases.
The initiative is part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to create self-employment opportunities and strengthen the economic foundation of youth across Budgam district.
