Srinagar, October 21, 2024: A high-level delegation of the J&K Rehbar-e-Khel Teachers Forum met with the Hon'ble Minister for Youth Services and Sports, J&K, Shri Satish Sharma, at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar today. The delegation was led by Forum Chairman Bilal Ahmed Shah and included Forum President Shaukat Khan, Chief Spokesperson Firdous Hussain, District President Baramulla Mudasir Ahmad Khan, and Shafat Ahmad.
During the meeting, the delegation presented a detailed memorandum highlighting several burning and long-pending issues faced by Rehbar-e-Khel teachers. These issues primarily included service regularization, salary enhancement, and the overall welfare of teachers under this scheme.
Hon'ble Minister Shri Satish Sharma attentively listened to the delegation and expressed his full support for their demands. He assured that the concerns raised would be addressed on a priority basis, and concrete steps would be taken to resolve these issues as soon as possible.
On behalf of the entire forum, President Shaukat Khan thanked the Hon'ble Minister for granting the meeting and appreciating his commitment to resolving the long-pending demands of Rehbar-e-Khel teachers.
