Shree Machail Mata Yatris Can Now Avail Digital Facilities for Registration and Donation:Press Briefing by ADC Kishtwar

Kishtwar, July 16, 2024

Shree Machail Mata Yatris and devotees can now avail digital facilities for registration and donation through the official website, www.shrimachailmatayatra.com

This announcement was made today by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Sh. Pawan Kotwal, during a press briefing.

Sh. Kotwal informed that this year, the administration has introduced two additional features on the Shree Machail Mata website. Yatris can now register for darshan slots via their mobile phones or service centers by clicking the "Register" button on the homepage, filling in the required information, and downloading the registration slip.

These downloaded slips will be checked during the Yatra journey at the base camp/check point Doundhi Morh Gulabgarh.

In addition to registration, devotees interested in making donations can do so online by clicking the "Donation" button on the website.

Sh. Pawan Kotwal also emphasized that Yatris must bring their Aadhar card for hassle-free passes during the Yatra. This facility has been introduced to accommodate the growing number of visitors to the shrine and ensure a smooth experience for all Yatris.

Furthermore, he announced that heli services will commence from July 25, with online registration open on the Shree Machail Mata Yatra website in addition to offline registration.

He also shared the good news that the Machail road up to Chishoti has been opened for vehicles last week under the guidance of Deputy Commisioner Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav IAS, reducing the trek to the Bhawan to approximately 9-10 kilometers, a journey of about three hours only now.

Various other logistical and security arrangements have been put in place by the administration this year. ADC Kishtwar urged all Yatris to maintain cleanliness and environmental serenity throughout their journey.

The press briefing was attended by ASP Kishtwar, Pawan Kumar Sharma, and AO DC Office, Satinder Singh.
