Patwari Sunil Verma Arrested by Anti-Corruption Bureau for Accepting Bribe

In a major crackdown on corruption, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested Patwari Sunil Verma from Samba district on charges of accepting a bribe.
According to official sources, the accused Patwari was caught red-handed while demanding and receiving an illegal gratification from an individual for processing revenue-related work. Acting swiftly on the complaint, the ACB team laid a successful trap and apprehended the official on the spot.
The accused has been taken into custody, and further investigation into the case is underway to uncover more details about his involvement in corrupt practices.
The ACB has reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining transparency and accountability in public offices across Jammu and Kashmir, urging citizens to report any instances of bribery or corruption.
