On Sunday evening, a sudden influx of water in the coaching center's basement led to a rescue operation, resulting in the death of three students. The deceased include two female students and one male student, all of whom were preparing for civil services exams.
Following the incident, the Delhi government immediately ordered a magisterial inquiry to determine the causes of this tragic event and to take strict action against those responsible. In the wake of this tragedy, civil services aspirants have staged a strong protest outside the coaching center.
The protesting students allege that the safety measures at the coaching center were neglected, leading to this accident. They are demanding strict action against the culprits.
One protesting student stated, "We come here to prepare for a better future, but due to the negligence of the safety measures here, we lost our companions. We want the culprits to be given the harshest punishment so that such an incident does not happen again."
Following the incident, there is significant anger among the students and their parents. Other coaching centers in Old Rajendra Nagar are also under scrutiny regarding student safety.
