Jammu, October 28: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has issued an official order allocating government business among the Ministers of the Union Territory.

As per the official annexure accompanying the order, Ms. Shamim Firdous is listed at Serial No. 7 and has been assigned the School Education Department, Higher Education Department and Jal Shakti Department.

The allocation places three key public-service sectors under her charge, covering school-level education, higher education and water-related matters.

The annexure also lists the departments assigned to other members of the Council of Ministers. Any departments or subjects not allocated to individual Ministers will remain with the Chief Minister, as stated in the order.
