Anantnag, October 18, 2026: The Shaheed DYSP Humayun Muzammil T20 Cricket Tournament, organised by Anantnag Police under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2026–27, concluded on Sunday with an exciting final between Islamia Lions and Vertical Sports.

In the final match, Vertical Sports emerged victorious over Islamia Lions to clinch the tournament title and lift the trophy.

The tournament was organised to promote sportsmanship, encourage youth participation in constructive activities and provide a platform for emerging cricketing talent to showcase their skills.

The initiative also highlighted Anantnag Police's efforts to strengthen police-public relations and engage young people in positive, community-oriented activities through sports.

Anantnag Police congratulated the winning team, Vertical Sports, and appreciated all participating teams for their enthusiasm, discipline and sporting spirit throughout the tournament.
