TANGMARG, OCTOBER 2: Cabinet Minister Javed Dar attended the culmination of the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign and the launch of Reforms Utsav (Gram Sabha) at Government Degree College (GDC) Tangmarg on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
Paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, the Minister emphasised that cleanliness, environmental protection and grassroots development require collective participation and a shared sense of responsibility.
Javed Dar highlighted the importance of Gram Sabhas in strengthening participatory governance and empowering local communities to actively contribute to village development and decision-making processes.
He stressed the need for sustained public participation in cleanliness initiatives and developmental programmes to build cleaner, greener and more empowered communities.
MLA Gulmarg Peerzada Farooq Ahmad Shah was also present on the occasion.
