Banihal, October 17: Jammu and Kashmir Health and Medical Education Minister Sakina Itoo visited Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Banihal on Saturday to review healthcare services and discuss ways to strengthen medical facilities in the area.

Banihal MLA Sajad Shaheen accompanied the Minister during the visit. Senior health officials present on the occasion included Dr. Poonam Sethi, Director Health Services, Jammu; Dr. Sudershan Singh Katoch, Chief Medical Officer, Ramban; Dr. Soami Saran Anjal, District Immunization Officer, Ramban; and Dr. Opinder Singh, Block Medical Officer, Banihal.

The visit highlighted the importance of improving healthcare infrastructure, ensuring better hospital functioning, and providing accessible and quality medical services to residents of Banihal and adjoining areas.
