Anantnag, September 5, 2026: SSP Anantnag Shri Amod Ashok Nagpure-IPS today chaired a meeting with Probationary Sub-Inspectors (PSIs) at the District Police Office (DPO) Anantnag to review their training, operational preparedness and investigation performance.
During the meeting, the SSP conducted a detailed review of investigations being handled by the PSIs and assessed the progress and timely disposal of pending cases. He directed the officers to strictly adhere to prescribed legal procedures and maintain the highest standards of professionalism and quality during investigations.
The operational preparedness and field performance of the officers were also reviewed. The SSP emphasized the importance of alertness, effective response mechanisms and prompt action while dealing with various situations in the field.
Training requirements of the PSIs were discussed in detail, with focus on strengthening their professional skills, operational capabilities and understanding of police procedures. The SSP stressed the need for continuous learning and capacity building to enable the officers to discharge their responsibilities more effectively.
SSP Anantnag directed all officers to maintain a high level of professionalism, ensure effective supervision and continuously improve their performance in the three key areas of training, operations and investigation.
The meeting underscored the importance of competent, responsive and professionally equipped police personnel in ensuring effective policing and better public service delivery across the district.
