Samba, September 22, 2026: Samba Police successfully concluded a volleyball tournament organized under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2026–27 at Government High School, Jatwal, under the jurisdiction of Police Station Ghagwal.

The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from local youth, sportspersons and members of the community. A total of eight teams from across District Samba competed in the event, while a large number of spectators gathered to encourage the participating players.

The final match was played between Sanoora Volleyball Club and Radyal Volleyball Club. In an exciting and closely contested encounter, Sanoora Volleyball Club emerged victorious, defeating Radyal Volleyball Club to lift the tournament trophy.

The winning and runner-up teams were presented trophies by SSP Samba, who appreciated the enthusiasm, discipline and sporting spirit displayed by the participating youth. He also emphasized the importance of sports in promoting discipline, teamwork and positive engagement among young people.

Additional SP Samba, DySP Headquarters Samba, SHO Police Station Ghagwal and other police officers were present on the occasion.

The event provided a platform for local youth to showcase their sporting talent and encouraged greater participation in sports and community activities.
