Jammu & Kashmir, September 3, 2026: The School Education Department, Government of Jammu & Kashmir, has approved 20 teachers for the Teacher’s Award 2026 in recognition of their excellence and outstanding services in the field of education.

The approval has been accorded through Government Order No. 362-JK(Edu) of 2026, dated September 3, 2026. The awards will be presented on the occasion of Teacher’s Day on September 5.

The list includes 10 teachers from Jammu Division and 10 from Kashmir Division, representing different districts and educational institutions across the Union Territory.

The awardees include teachers, lecturers, principals, a senior lecturer and a master. The government has recognized their dedication, commitment and contribution towards strengthening school education in Jammu & Kashmir.
