New Delhi, September 6: The Indian Air Force’s (IAF) Sarang Helicopter Display Team has arrived in Egypt to participate in the second edition of the Alamein International Airshow, scheduled to be held at Al Alamein International Airport from September 8 to 10, 2026.

The Sarang team, known for its precision and highly coordinated aerial displays, will showcase a series of professionally choreographed performances demonstrating exceptional flying skills, accuracy and teamwork.

The team is recognised as the world’s only five-helicopter aerobatic display team, making its participation a significant highlight of the international airshow.

The IAF’s participation in the event marks another important step in strengthening India’s international defence engagement and reflects the growing defence and diplomatic ties between India and Egypt.
