New Delhi: Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Earth Sciences, Dr Jitendra Singh, felicitated the winning members of the Indian school team at a special appreciation and interaction meeting held at Prithvi Bhavan, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.
The students emerged as winners at the 19th International Earth Science Olympiad (IESO) 2026, bringing global recognition to India through their outstanding performance in earth sciences.
Dr Jitendra Singh expressed immense pride in the young achievers and congratulated the students, their parents and respective schools for their remarkable accomplishment. He appreciated their dedication and said their success reflects the talent and potential of India’s young generation.
The interaction also provided an opportunity for the minister to engage with the students and encourage them to continue pursuing excellence in science and research.
