Pulwama, September 16: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today chaired a comprehensive review meeting in Pulwama to assess the progress of various developmental works being undertaken across the district.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister reviewed the status of ongoing projects and directed the concerned departments to expedite their execution and ensure timely completion. He also assured that the key developmental requirements of Pulwama would receive priority attention.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary, Ministers Javed Ahmed Rana and Satish Sharma, Advisor to the Chief Minister, local MLAs and senior officers of the administration.
The Chief Minister emphasized the need for coordinated efforts among departments to accelerate the pace of development and address the priority requirements of the district.
During his visit to Pulwama, Omar Abdullah also dedicated development projects worth ₹86 crore to the people.
The projects cover several important sectors, including infrastructure, agriculture, school education, health and tribal welfare.
The dedication of the projects marks an important step towards strengthening public infrastructure and improving services across different sectors in the district.
The Chief Minister directed the concerned authorities to maintain close monitoring of developmental works and ensure that projects are completed within the stipulated timelines for the benefit of the people.
