SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 04: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today laid the foundation stone for developmental works at Kashmir Government Polytechnic, Srinagar, and e-inaugurated infrastructure upgrades worth ₹4.20 crore across Government Polytechnics in Kishtwar, Ramban, Kulgam and Kupwara.
The initiatives are aimed at strengthening technical education infrastructure and providing students with better facilities and learning opportunities.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister also felicitated students who secured overseas placements, appreciating their achievements and highlighting the Government’s commitment to strengthening technical education and creating meaningful employment opportunities for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
Deputy Chief Minister, Advisor Nasir Sogami, MLA Lal Chowk Ahsan Pardesi and senior officers attended the function.
