Srinagar, September 2: BJP leaders and workers staged a protest at Ghanta Ghar in Lal Chowk, Srinagar, on Wednesday, raising concerns over unemployment and alleging corruption under the Omar Abdullah-led government.

The protesters raised slogans against the government and demanded action on issues concerning employment and governance.

According to the protesters, they will proceed from Lal Chowk towards the Secretariat and attempt to gherao the building as part of their demonstration.

Security arrangements have been put in place in and around the protest area as the march is expected to move towards the Secretariat.
