New Delhi, September 1, 2026: Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) prices for domestic airlines have been increased by 5.46%, while the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder has been raised by Rs 9.50 with effect from September 1.

According to state-owned oil marketing companies, ATF prices have increased by Rs 6.28 per litre, from Rs 115 to Rs 121.28 per litre. This is the second consecutive monthly increase in jet fuel prices and is expected to add to the operating costs of airlines.

Commercial LPG prices have also been revised upward, with the 19-kg cylinder increasing from Rs 2,738 to Rs 2,747.50. The price of a 5-kg non-domestic LPG cylinder has also risen by Rs 2 to Rs 764.

The latest revisions have been made in line with changes in international benchmark prices and foreign exchange rates. LPG and ATF prices are revised on the first day of every month.

However, there is no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinders, which remains at Rs 942 for a 14.2-kg cylinder. Petrol and diesel prices have also remained unchanged.

The increase in ATF prices could put additional pressure on airline operating costs, while the commercial LPG hike may affect hotels, restaurants, catering businesses and other establishments that depend on LPG.
