New Delhi: For candidates dreaming of a prestigious career in the aviation sector, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has announced a major recruitment drive for 389 Manager and Junior Executive posts across multiple disciplines.
The recruitment has been announced under Advertisement No. 12/2026/CHQ/DR-CBT. The online application process started on August 8, 2026, and eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official AAI recruitment portal until September 7, 2026.

Out of the total 389 vacancies, 260 posts are for Managers and 129 posts are for Junior Executives.

The largest number of vacancies is available for Manager (Engineering–Civil) with 145 posts, followed by Junior Executive (Operations) with 79 posts.
Salary Up to ₹1.80 Lakh
The recruitment offers an attractive pay structure. Selected candidates for Manager posts will receive a pay scale of ₹60,000–₹1,80,000, while Junior Executives will receive ₹40,000–₹1,40,000. According to recruitment details, the approximate annual CTC is around ₹21 lakh for Managers and ₹14 lakh for Junior Executives, apart from applicable allowances and benefits.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit is:
- Manager: 32 years
- Junior Executive: 27 years
The age will be calculated as on September 7, 2026. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be available to eligible reserved-category candidates as per Government of India rules.
Educational Qualification
Eligibility varies according to the post. Depending on the discipline, candidates may require qualifications such as B.E./B.Tech, MBA/PGDM, CA/CMA/CFA, Bachelor’s or Professional Degree in Law, Bachelor’s in Architecture with Council of Architecture registration, degrees in Science/Statistics/Mathematics, or qualifications in Journalism/Mass Communication.
For Manager-level positions, the prescribed qualification along with relevant post-qualification work experience is required. For Junior Executive positions, the required educational qualification varies by discipline and prior work experience is generally not required. Candidates should carefully check the official advertisement for the exact qualification applicable to their chosen post.
Application Fee
The application fee is ₹1,000, including GST, for candidates in the applicable General/OBC-NCL/EWS categories.

- SC candidates
- ST candidates
- PwBD candidates
- Women candidates
- Candidates who have successfully completed one year of Apprenticeship Training in AAI
The fee is payable through online mode.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through a Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by further stages depending on the post.
For Manager posts, shortlisted candidates are required to undergo document/application verification and interview. Candidates applying for Manager (Fire Services) may also have to undergo physical measurements, driving and physical endurance tests. The CBT examination date will be announced separately by AAI.
