20 Locations Raided, 13 Suspects Picked Up in Anantnag Drug Network Crackdown
Anantnag, September 13: Anantnag Police on Saturday conducted a major Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) at around 20 locations in the Waghama area, as part of an intensified crackdown on the illegal drug trade.
During the operation, police picked up 13 suspected drug peddlers for questioning. Officials said the action was aimed at identifying and disrupting local narcotics networks, including suspected supply and distribution chains operating in the area.
The operation is part of ongoing efforts by Anantnag Police to curb drug-related activities and prevent the spread of narcotics among the youth.
Police have not yet officially disclosed the identities of the 13 suspects. Further details are expected as the investigation progresses.
