Leh, September 10, 2026: The Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh, School Education Department, has issued an appointment order for 18 candidates to the post of Junior Assistant (Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted) in the School Education Department.

As per Order No. 134-LA (SED) of 2026, dated September 9, 2026, the appointments have been made for the Leh District Cadre under Pay Level-4 of the Pay Matrix (₹25,500–₹81,100), along with other admissible allowances.

The appointments have been made following the provisional selection list issued by the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Subordinate Services Recruitment Board (LAHD-SSRB) and subsequent approval of the competent authority.

The appointed candidates include Jigmat Dolma, Paldan Namgail, Padma Landol, Stanzin Chorol, Jigmat Angchuk, Sonam Chosdon, Jigmet Yangchan, Rigzin Yangdol, Stanzin Zangmo, Tsering Dorjay, Namgail Angmo, Rigzin Chondol, Rigzin Dolma, Tsering Angmo, Padma Lhamo, Jigmat Dorjey, Rigzin Tamchos and Jigmet Dorjay.

The appointees will remain on probation for two years from the date of joining. Their appointments are subject to verification of character and antecedents, educational qualifications and other required certificates.

The services of the selected candidates have been placed at the disposal of the Chief Education Officer, Leh, for further deployment. They have been directed to report to the office of the Chief Education Officer, Leh, within 15 days from the date of issuance of the appointment order, failing which their appointments will be deemed cancelled ab-initio without further notice.
