14 Suspended School Education Officials Reinstated in Jammu Division


Jammu, September 8: The Directorate of School Education, Jammu, has ordered the reinstatement of 14 non-gazetted officials of the Jammu Division following a decision taken by the Review Committee in its meeting held on August 22, 2026, to review suspension cases.

According to an official order issued by the Directorate of School Education, Jammu, the officials have been reinstated with a warning to remain careful and not repeat such acts in the future. The order further states that the period of suspension of the officials shall be treated as on duty by the concerned Chief Education Officers (CEOs), as per rules.

The reinstatement covers officials posted in Doda and Rajouri districts.

Officials Reinstated

The order lists the following 14 officials:

1. Ghulam Hussain — Teacher, PS Rangolla, District Doda


2. Zulfikar Ali — Teacher, PS Rangolla, District Doda


3. Jagdish Kumar — Teacher Grade III, PS Lanjhar, Zone Moughla, District Rajouri


4. Ajaz Ahmed — 3rd Teacher, MS Namblan, District Rajouri


5. Mohd. Jhangheer — 3rd Teacher, MS Namblan, District Rajouri


6. Vikram Bali — Teacher, MS Namblan, District Rajouri


7. Mushtaq Ahmed — Teacher Grade II, MS Namblan, District Rajouri


8. Mohd Imran — Teacher, MS Chapradar, Zone Thanna Mandi, District Rajouri


9. Shareen Dar — Teacher, MS Chapradar, Zone Thanna Mandi, District Rajouri


10. Yasmeen Akhter — Teacher, MS Ward No. 8, Rajouri


11. Nosheen Akhter — Teacher, MS Ward No. 8, Rajouri


12. Sofia Akhter — Teacher, MS Ward No. 8, Rajouri


13. Ajeet Singh — Teacher Grade II, MS Pateli, Zone Koteranka, District Rajouri


14. Shah Qabool — RReT, MS Panjnara-I, Zone Koteranka, District Rajouri



The order has been issued by the Director, School Education, Jammu, and copies have been forwarded to the Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, School Education Department, the Additional Secretary (Law), the FA/Chief Accounts Officer, and the concerned Chief Education Officers of Doda and Rajouri for information and necessary action.

Reinstatement Subject to Court Outcome

The Directorate has also made it clear that the reinstatement order is subject to the outcome of any court case, if any, pending before any competent court of law.

The decision is expected to enable the reinstated officials to resume their duties at their respective places of posting, subject to the conditions mentioned in the official order.

The development comes after the Review Committee examined the suspension cases of non-gazetted officials of the Jammu Division and took a decision on their reinstatement.
