Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan Launches Sovereign AI Stack ‘Gyani Arth’

New Delhi, August 28: Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan launched ‘Gyani Arth’, a sovereign artificial intelligence (AI) stack aimed at strengthening India’s capabilities in indigenous AI technologies and applications.

The AI stack comprises two key components — EvoN 3.3, a large language model (LLM), and Plexus, a platform designed to connect AI intelligence with real-world tasks and institutions.

EvoN 3.3 is positioned as the large language model component of the stack, while Plexus provides the platform layer for translating AI capabilities into practical applications and connecting them with institutions and real-world activities.

The launch marks an important step towards developing and promoting sovereign AI infrastructure in India. The initiative seeks to support the use of homegrown AI technologies across different domains while enabling AI systems to address practical requirements.

The development of sovereign AI stacks is increasingly significant as countries work towards building secure, indigenous and scalable artificial intelligence ecosystems. ‘Gyani Arth’ is expected to contribute to this broader effort by combining an indigenous language model with a platform focused on real-world implementation.

The launch underlines the growing emphasis on strengthening India’s domestic AI capabilities and developing technologies that can be integrated with institutions and practical applications.
