Sakina Itoo Reviews Recruitment Rules for Newly Established Government Medical Colleges
Srinagar, August 21: Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Education and Health, Sakina Itoo, chaired a meeting at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar to review the recruitment rules for the newly established Government Medical Colleges in the Union Territory.

During the meeting, the Minister discussed key aspects of the proposed recruitment framework and reviewed the progress towards finalising the rules.

Sakina Itoo directed the concerned officers to ensure that the recruitment rules are finalised in a timely, transparent and effective manner. She emphasised the importance of putting in place a clear recruitment framework to strengthen the functioning of the newly established medical institutions.

The meeting focused on ensuring that the recruitment process supports the availability of qualified manpower and contributes to improving medical education and healthcare delivery across Jammu and Kashmir.

The Minister stressed that timely action on the recruitment framework would help further strengthen the healthcare infrastructure and academic capabilities of Government Medical Colleges in the Union Territory.
