Jammu, August 18, 2026: MLA from Nagrota constituency Divyani Rana today kickstarted the permanent restoration work of the link road connecting Upper Handwal with Lower Handwal in Block Mathwar.

The restoration project has been taken up at an advertised cost of ₹70 lakh and is aimed at improving road connectivity for residents of the area.

The project is expected to provide better and safer connectivity between Upper Handwal and Lower Handwal while addressing long-standing road-related concerns of the local population.

The commencement of the work marks an important step towards strengthening basic infrastructure and improving connectivity in the Nagrota constituency.
