Kupwara, Jammu & Kashmir, August 28: Raksha Bandhan was celebrated with warmth and emotion in Kupwara as local women tied rakhis to Army jawans serving in the area, expressing their gratitude, respect and affection for the soldiers.

The women reached out to the Army personnel and tied sacred threads on their wrists, symbolising the bond of protection and trust associated with the festival. They also conveyed their Raksha Bandhan wishes to the soldiers and thanked them for their service and dedication.
