Jammu, August 17: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday flagged off the sacred Shri Budha Amarnath Ji Yatra, extending his prayers and best wishes to devotees embarking on the annual pilgrimage.

Speaking on the occasion, the Lieutenant Governor described the pilgrimage as a deeply spiritual and transformative experience for devotees. He prayed to Lord Shiva for a smooth, safe and spiritually fulfilling journey for all pilgrims arriving from different parts of the country.

“Blessed to flag off the sacred Shri Budha Amarnath Ji Yatra today. This divine pilgrimage is a transformative experience for devotees,” LG Manoj Sinha said.

He further prayed that Mahadev bless every step of the pilgrims’ sacred journey and that all devotees complete the pilgrimage safely and peacefully.

The Shri Budha Amarnath Yatra is an important annual pilgrimage in the Jammu region, attracting devotees from across the country. The administration and security agencies have made arrangements to facilitate the safe and smooth movement of pilgrims.

The Lieutenant Governor conveyed his heartfelt greetings to all devotees and wished them a spiritually enriching pilgrimage.
